Agency has taken all necessary steps for implementing monitoring & targeting systems in public buildings from September 2011. With these systems we will be able to collect data and on these bases establish a short, medium and long term plans.
T1. LEC in “Gorenjska” region are not completed. LEAG is currently producing 2 LEC for municipality's. Other 16 municipalities have chosen companies on the market for the LEC. We have been in contact with all municipalities in region and inform them about deadlines for LEC (31.12.2011). As LEC will be completed we will collect data from the documents.
T2. LEAG has been appointed as energy manager in 6 municipalities in region. LEAG has 2 certified energy managers and are currently involved in activities in 15 primary schools, where complete energy management process is done. Energy audits, solving technical issues and education of building caretakers. In the year 2012 is planned to have monitoring & targeting systems in 5 primary schools and 2013 in 8 primary schools. This includes monitoring of energy consumption in minute intervals with all benefits of energy indicators to reduce costs of energy use.
T3. LEAG is introducing energy accounting this year in 6 municipalities and 3 more planned in 2012. Through this tool we will analyse RUE potentials.
T4. Action plans are prepared as part of LEC documents.
T5. We have send report to ministry about our activities and financing according to instructions.
T6. We have started with activities before all LEC are made. Many LEC in Slovenia are poorly written and some does not have any effective RES or RUE solutions. As we have Energy Monitoring&Targeting system installed in one primary schools from January 2011 we analyse it thoroughly to assess potential. We have successfully cut electricity bills for 30% and more and 15% for heating. As we learned much from this example we will introduce this model into 14 other schools this year. We expect to lower costs about 10%. We noticed that primary schools are not very energy critical. They have many energy savings programs and education already implemented. Kindergartens are almost all energy disasters as almost all have more than 300kWh/m2 consumption.
T7. We have 2 partners which are both very respectable companies in Slovenia and have many years of experience in RES in RUE. We have regular meetings and telephone conversations and planned media activities.
T8. We have connected with ENSVET (large state program for energy education and advising). We provide information of RUE and RES on our website and offer information about public tenders on phone or mail.
T9. We are currently involved in preparation of 2 LEC and are in the advisory group for another LEC.
